Israeli Salad with a Tahini dressing
TOTAL PRERP TIME: 30 Minutes
SERVES: 2-4
INGREDIENTS:
120 g sesame butter
120 g soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp ground fresh ginger
2 minced garlic cloves
juice from 1 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cucumber
1 tomato
1 bell pepper
1 onion
1 scallion
1 tbsp parsley leaves
croutons
PROCEDURE:
In a food processor, make the tahini dressing:
Blend the sesame butter, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic and lemon juice.
Taste and add seasonings if necessary.
In a medium bowl, chop the cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, onion, scallion and parsley leaves.
Add a tbsp of olive oil and mix well.
Plate, add some croutons and the Tahini dressing. Serve.
